Finistère and the Pays Bigouden offer a wide range of cultural and artistic visits and are ideal for walking and cycling.

• The picturesque harbour of Sainte-Marine, its cafés and restaurants, the Abri du marin
• The shopping streets of Pont l’Abbé, the Thursday morning market, the Bigouden museum (traditional costumes, painting exhibition), the Pont l’Abbé river for bird-watchers.
• The rocks of St Guénolé and the Pointe de La Torche: fields of tulips and hyacinths, surfing, megaliths, calvaire monument at Tronoën.
• Discovery of one of the region’s emblematic activities: fishing, in the harbours of the Pays Bigouden: at Le Guilvinec, Haliotika “cité de la pêche” (visit and workshops), guided visit of the fish market, and a viewing gallery to see the boats coming in at 5 pm and watch quivering langoustines being unloaded.

• Quimper: the historical city centre with its timber framed houses and its cathedral, its museums (Beaux-arts, Breton)

Our second restaurant, the Bistrot du Bac, located on the harbour 150 m from the Villa, offers a choice of seafood (crustaceans, sea bass, John Dory…) and tasty bistro cuisine.

It is the ideal place to enjoy the leisurely bustle of Sainte-Marine harbour, sipping a drink or enjoying locally fished seafood in a friendly atmosphere.
